RAK to break yet another Guinness World Record on New Year’s Eve

Ras Al Khaimah will once again attempt to break a Guinness World Record this coming New Year’s Eve and it is an event that you surely don’t want to miss.

Time’s Out Dubai reported that Ras Al Khaimah will be having a 12-minute firework display on Monday December 31 on Al Marjan Island for the world record attempt.

The New Year’s Eve firework display can be viewed from three different areas, including Al Marjan Island, Al Hamra Village and Al Shohadah Street.

Aside from the fireworks show, there will also be other activities and attractions that visitors can check out.

Taking place from 5:00 PM to 2:00 AM, there will be food trucks, ice cream salons, lemonade corners, live performances and children’s activities, as well as mime artists, and clowns welcoming visitors with free balloons.

The event will be free and will have over 27,000 parking spaces. This will be Ras Al Khaimah’s second world record attempt after they broke the Guinness World Record for the Largest Aerial Firework Shell. They launched a firework shell which weighed 1,087.26 kg and reached a height of around 1,127 m.
