An overseas Filipina worker (OFW) from Dubai reported her maid to police after discovering that her home in San Jose City, Nueva Ecija has been ransacked.
OFW Frances Lou Correa hired the maid on the same day that the break in happened.
The maid, identified as 38 year-old Irene Carbonnel, allegedly stole a laptop computer, a signature bag, two gold bracelets, P10,000 cash and a mobile phone.
According to the OFW, she was visiting their rice retailer store at the time of the incident, leaving the maid alone in their house.
When she arrived home, she discovered that her things were missing as well as the maid who was believed to have escaped following the crime.
The suspect, who is still at large, will be facing qualified theft.
