Daily exercise keeps diseases at bay, but sometimes working out feels more like a chore than an enjoyable activity. Luckily, a Dubai-based shopping center is giving UAE residents a one-of-a-kind motivation for exercising—get a gold for every weight you lose.

Dubai shopping mall Al Ghurair Center announced its new fitness campaign entitled ‘lose to win gold challenge’. The promo offers one gram of gold for every kilogram of weight UAE residents lose, reported Khaleej Times.

To participate in the exciting challenge, UAE residents can register their details at the Al Ghurair Center’s customer care desk.

“The participant who loses maximum weight in accordance with the terms and conditions will win one gram of gold per kilogram [of weight] they have lost,” said Al Ghurair Center in a statement.

To help more resident get pumped up for the challenge, Al Ghurair has also rolled out free fitness programs—including free BMI and body fat-muscle ratio tests—every week until November 24.

“This competition is not just about winning gold for a short-term commitment towards their health but aims to encourage our community at large to permanently adopt a well-balanced lifestyle,” said Zeinab Badar, marketing head at Al Ghurair Center.

All winners of the “Lose To Win Gold” challenge will be announced and rewarded on November 25.
