“Di pa tapos ang trabaho,” says Mar Roxas as he files COC for Senate comeback

Former senator Manuel “Mar” Roxas files his Certificate of Candidacy (COC) for Senator in next year’s election.

The former Liberal Party president withdraw from most public engagements after losing to President Rodrigo Duterte in the 2016 elections.

However, he cleared out that he has moved on since then.

“Well, unang-una ako naka-move on na ako. E talagang lumabas na ako ng arena,” The Philippine Star quoted him as saying.

He highlighted that he is willing to serve the country once again.

He ended his speech by saying, “I have no quit in me… and I’m not going to quit on our country.”

Before ending his speech he repeated what he said on Monday when he announced his bid to run:

Roxas is a former member of the Upper House from 2004 to 2010.
