Davao City Mayor and presidential daughter Sara Duterte-Carpio defended her father President Rodrigo Duterte after many have speculated that the latter is having health issues.
The presidential daughter is confident that her father is fit to work. “Hindi talaga natin makikita si PRD [President Duterte] in public kung may sakit siya,” the mayor said.
Her comments came after Duterte said last Tuesday that his latest endoscopy procedure turned out to be negative from cancer.
“Kung stage 3 siguro nag [undergo na yan] ng chemo[therapy] so hindi na siya makakapag-ikot or magpapakita. I do not think may sakit [siya] na stage 3 cancer,” Duterte-Carpio said.
The presidential daughter said that she would still talk to her father regarding his health.
