IECEP-UAE joins the 5th IECEP GCC Convention in Oman

The Institute of Electronics Engineers of the Philippines (IECEP) Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) held their 5th GCC Convention last August 17 and 18, 2018 at the CrownePlaza Convention & Exhibition Centre in Muscat, Oman.

In attendance were Consul Arvic Arevalo of the Philippine Embassy in Oman, Dr. Alnar Detalla, Chairperson of the Professional Regulatory Board of Electronics Engineering, Engr. Romulo Agatep, Conutry Registrar of the philippine Technological Council, together with 89 delegates representing 8 chapters (IECEP-Bahrain, IECEP-KSA-CRC, IECEP-KSA-ERC, IECEP-KSA-WRC, IECEP-Kuwait, IECEP-Oman, IECEP-Qatar, and IECEP-UAE) of the IECEP GCC.

The theme of this year’s GCC Convention was ‘Electronics Professionals: Advancing Global Capacity and Excellence in International Diverse Industries’. The annual event aims to impart up-to-date know-how on the best practices in the field of electronics engineering as part of the Continuing Professional Development (CPD) program of the organization.
