2 more investors seeking Xian Gaza’s arrest

Two investors are now seeking the arrest of Christian ALbert Gaza, more popularly known as Xian Gaza, for allegedly duping them into lending him P3 million.

According to a report by ABS-CBN, authorities are now looking for the Chinese businessman after Jaime Asuncion and Melinda Cruz called DZMM’s Lingkod Kapamilya.

The investors said Gaza can no longer be found after Branches 26 and 120 of Malabon Metropolitan Trial Court released two warrants of arrest against him for violations against Batas Pambansa (BP) 22 or the Anti-Bouncing Checks Law.

According to Cruz, Gaza asked her to help him fund his coffee shop when his business partners started pulling out.

Cruz said that she did not have a hard time trusting Gaza because she has known him and his family for more than 8 years now.

According to Cruz, she lent Gaza money worth P2 million.

“Nag-invest po ako sa business and then nung una po nakakapagbigay naman siya,” Cruz said in the radio show.

Cruz further narrated that she was listed as a “lender” in her contract with Gaza. According to Cruz, Gaza failed to pay the amount in full and instead, resorted to paying P20,000 in interest every month.

Gaza even promised Cruz that she will be a profit-sharer when the business boomed.

However, Gaza stopped paying the interest after only 5 months and after that, Cruz can no longer contact him.

Cruz said Gaza’s parents tried to make amends by offering her a property in Bacoor, Cavite.

“Hindi nga nila in-expect na pati ako idadamay daw sa panloloko ng anak nila so binigyan po ako ng property na hindi naman sufficient enough dahil ang naging worth lang ng property is P700,000 pero sabi nila P3 million ang halaga,” Cruz said.

Aside from Cruz, Gaza also sought the help of Jaime Asuncion in funding his coffee shop, to which Asuncion alluded. But when their business partnership was no longer sailing smoothly, Gaza fled.

“Ako po ‘yung nagpondo ng coffee shop. First month pa lang ng usapan namin sabi niya siya ang magpapatakbo. Eh ako po ang nagpondo lahat, so nilalabanan ko ang 50-50 sharing. First month pa lang hindi na kami magkasundo sa hatian, so I feel na greedy itong taong ito,” Asuncion explained.

Asuncion revealed that he invested at least P1 million.

“Sabi niya ‘Ok po, tito. Babayaran kita ng tseke. Personal na utang ko na ito.’ Binabayaran niya nung una,” he said.

Asuncion was no longer able to contact Gaza to settle their monetary problems. He then found out that Gaza reached out to Cruz to help him financially.

It was then that Cruz and Asuncion decided to file complaints against Chinese businessman.

This isn’t the first time Gaza’s name has been involved in a scam issue. Several netizens have aired out their dealings with Gaza, which caused them to lose a hefty amount of money. One of is Dewanie Catapang who claimed to have worked with Gaza for the “Haiyan Shirt Project”. According to Catapang, the project never took off and she did not get paid for her work in the said project.

Gaza, president and CEO of Hongkong-based Guanxiqian Group, made rounds on social media last year when he asked actress Erich Gonzales to go on a date with him by putting up a huge billboard in Morayta, Manila.
