It will be a foggy weekend for UAE residents as mist and fog formations are expected to envelope many parts of the country, the National Center of Meteorology and Seismology (NCMS) reported.
The weather in the UAE will be hot during daytime, fair and hazy at times but will have milder temperatures during nights and mornings.
Low clouds are expected to bring some rain over the Eastern area of the country until Monday.
“Low clouds will appear over Eastern area, becoming towering at times associated with some rain during the afternoon over the mountains, especially on Thursday and Friday,” the weather bureau said.
On Thursday, September 14, fog and mist formations were recorded over Sharjah, Dubai, and Ras Al Khaimah.
Fog formations will continue to cover the UAE, especially during the morning, until Monday.
“Possible fog formation over the northern coasts especially on Saturday morning,” the forecast read.
Winds will be light to moderate during daytime, becoming freshening at times.
