The United Arab Emirates on Sunday condemned the drone attack targeting three border posts and an offshore drilling platform operated by Kuwait Oil Company.
In a statement, the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs said the attack constituted a flagrant violation of Kuwait’s sovereignty and posed a threat to the country’s security and stability.
According to the statement, the attack caused material damage and injured one worker.
The UAE reaffirmed its full solidarity with Kuwait and expressed support for all measures aimed at safeguarding the country’s security and stability.
The ministry also wished the injured worker a speedy recovery.
