The meeting reviewed the latest updates on Ebola, as well as the UAE’s national health surveillance and response frameworks, existing precautionary measures, and coordination mechanisms at the local, national, and international levels.

NCEMA and MoHAP reiterated that precautionary monitoring measures remain in place as part of the UAE’s proactive approach to strengthening health preparedness and communicable disease response systems. They also emphasized that healthcare facilities and medical teams are fully prepared to respond efficiently to any emerging situations.
