Roads and Transport Authority has launched dedicated sensory rooms for individuals with autism at Al Satwa Station and Oud Metha Station to make public transportation more accessible and inclusive.
The specially designed rooms provide a calm and supportive environment for people with sensory sensitivities, helping them travel more comfortably and confidently.
The initiative is part of the RTA’s wider efforts to improve accessibility across the public transport network for people of determination and their families.
Officials said the move reflects the vision of Dubai as a city that serves everyone without exception, further strengthening its reputation as a global leader in inclusive urban mobility.
