Fortunately, the driver of the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) named Anwar Abdulrahman returned her lost wallet containing AED4,000.
Labuz was able to track the identity of the taxi driver as her friend had booked the cab via the Careem app.
She sought the help of her British employer, Louise Belton, 42, who contacted the RTA.
incidentally, the Bangladeshi driver was cleaning his car when he found the wallet. He got a call from the RTA soon after and told him that it belongs to Labuz
“I was very happy to be able to help and they were kind enough to give me a big tip as well,” The National quoted the driver as saying.
Belton said she was happy to help her employee.
