The UAE government is now accepting applications for tourist visas of those who are already fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
The Federal Authority For Identity and Citizenship (ICA) and the National Emergency Crisis and Disasters Management Authority (NCEMA) announced that those who wish to apply for tourist visas must be fully inoculated with vaccines approved by the World Health Organization (WHO).

This includes AstraZeneca, Johnson & Johnson, Moderna, Pfizer/BioNTech, Sinopharm, and Sinovac.
The visa application is open to citizens of all countries, including those arriving from the previously banned countries but arriving passengers on tourist visa must still take mandatory rapid PCR test at the airport, reported WAM.
Meanwhile, the rules for unvaccinated individuals, including exempted categories, remain in place. (NM)
