Jimmy Santos now a vlogger

‘Eat Bulaga’ TV host Jimmy Santos is now a certified Youtube vlogger.

Santos is now enjoying his time doing content for his vlog ‘Jimmy Saints’ in his hometown in Clark, Pampanga.

Santos told GMA’s Unang Hirit that he loves the culture and history of his hometown.

“Shine-share ko lang yung kaunting kaalaman ko at kung mga naikukwento sa kin yung tungkol dito sa Pampanga,” Jimmy said in the interview.

The TV host said that it’s not easy to create vlog contents. He said that it’s important to be knowledgeable on the contents that they are making.

Santos rose to popularity after portraying the lead character in the 80’s film ‘Bondying’.

He became part of the longest-running noontime show Eat Bulaga in the 90s.

The vlog has nearly 200,000 subscribers.

Apart from Santos, another Bulaga co-host Ruby Rodriguez is now in the United States with her family.

Earlier, Rodriguez set the records straight since netizens say that she resigned from the show to migrate to the United States.

“With Bossing and Poleng, noong pinaplano ko pa lang ‘to, pati ‘yung pag-aaplay ko ng trabaho alam na nila. Because they are my closest friends, they already know. The others do not,” Ruby said in a media conference.

“And then the girls, I opened up with Luane Dy na plano ko nga, kasi nga sa anak ko ganyan. Pero sila-sila lang ‘yung mga nasabihan ko, sila Allan K,” she said.

Ruby said that she was not able to properly say goodbye since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic took them all by surprise last year.

“Tapos noong nakausap ko si Boss, hindi pa ako nagpa-file ng leave. Plano pa lang, verbal pa lang ‘yung agreement pa lang namin, kasi ifa-file ko ‘yung leave ng March 2020, kung aalis na ako. E, hindi pa naman ako umaalis, so bakit ako magfa-file. Kasi, I was going to file it a month before I leave,” she said.

“’Yung mga tanong ng iba, ‘Tinanggal ka ba o ikaw ang umalis?’ Actually, hindi ako umalis, kasi nagpaalam ako na magle-leave of absence lang ako. Ang sabi sa akin ni Mr. Tuviera noon, you will always have a home here in Eat Bulaga,” Ruby added. (TDT)
