The Philippine Embassy in Kuwait has mounted its biggest repatriation flight for overseas Filipino workers to date.
In a Facebook post on June 3, the Embassy said that the Philippine government commissioned a special Philippine Airlines flight to bring home 374 overseas Filipinos.
“347 Filipinos—including one medical stretcher case, eight infants, and 18 senior citizens, pregnant women and other medical cases—will soon be reunited with their families in the Philippines,” the Embassy said in a statement.
Philippine Ambassador to Kuwait Mohd. Noordin Pendosina N. Lomondot and other Embassy officials personally sent off the passengers of the special repatriation flight at Kuwait International Airport.
