The Ministry of Health and Prevention on Thursday has released a list of hospitals and centers where UAE residents can get a jab of Sinopharm’s vaccine for the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19).

The announcement was made a day following the UAE’s approval of the vaccine, which has 86% efficacy as per the results of the third phase of clinical trials conducted in the country.

The UAE’s vaccination program will commence on Saturday in all clinics operated by the Abu Dhabi Health Authority (SEHA) as well as private centers of VPS Healthcare.

SEHA urged all residents to book an appointment via their website or thru their hotline 80050 before going to the centers. This, after SEHA was swamped by calls as regards the process on how to get inoculated.
