Bahraini man on trial for attempting to kill neighbor over parking spot

A Bahraini man is now on trial for frustrated murder rooted from a dispute over a parking spot, The Daily Tribune News of Bahrain reported.
The man allegedly stabbed his neighbor several times with a kitchen knife in their neighborhood in Galali.
According to Chief Prosecutor Adnan Fakhro, the results of the investigation showed that the knife used to commit the crime had the suspect’s fingerprints on it. He said that the prints, along with testimonies from the victim and eyewitnesses, are enough to prove the man’s guilt.
The investigation also revealed that the accused prepared the knife and stalked the victim before stabbing him on the road. One of the eyewitnesses added that the suspect continued stabbing him while the victim was already on the floor, and that he fled the scene and left the latter bleeding.
However, the suspect denied the allegations and said it was the victim who attacked and even threatened him and that what happened was simply self-defense.
