Chinese tech firm has introduced a new face mask that can disinfect itself and can unlock smartphones that require face recognition, Daily Mail reported.
Huami’s Aeri, a transparent plastic mask that looks like an N95, is designed with an anti-fog material—allowing the person’s face to be recognized by the smartphone’s face recognition features.
In addition, it also has built-in ultraviolet lights that can sterilize the mask while linked to a power source through a USB port. Users can also customize the wearing of Aeri through its adjustable breathing fans.
Huami president of industrial design said in an interview with TechCrunch said that Aeri can for one and a half months, which is much longer than surgical and N95 masks.
