When Filipinos have time to meet up with their friends and family here in the UAE, they bond over freshly prepared and great tasting food! But in order to do so, they first shop at their preferred store that offers them the freshest produce at the best prices – through West Zone Supermarkets!

In the latest episode of TFT Lifestyle TV, Dan on the Go and TFT Barkada Marvin asked a few Filipinos why they choose to shop at West Zone and found out these top reasons why West Zone is their grocery store of choice.

Quality goods. West Zone offers produce straight from the farms and into their shop selections that grocery shoppers delight in choosing from. “Dito kami bumibili ng mga meat kasi dito yung mga fresh goods galing sa Dubai and maganda yung quality nila,” shares one shopper.

Everything in one location. “Mahilig ako sa mga prutas – fresh kasi yung mga prutas nila. Tapos yung karne. Marami mabibili dito kasi kumpleto at mura,” said another shopper who raved about West Zone’s wide variety of selections when it comes to their available products – consumables, cleaning items, cosmetics, frozen goods, and more!

Pinoy products at best prices. The best thing about West Zone is that they’re working closely with Shankar Trading Company – the main distributor of Filipino products all over the UAE, which is why Filipinos can easily choose the products that they’re familiar with if they plan to cook and prepare dishes that remind them of home. “Mga Filipino products ang Mama Sita, Knorr, – para sa paborito kong ginagawa – ang pagluluto,” said one shopper.

West Zone plans to expand even more in the coming months, and is set to open more stores and hold more sales events and community activities for Filipinos and expats to enjoy. “At West Zone, we ensure that our customers don’t only shop for our goods – we want them to feel that we are their neighbourly store, ready to provide them with exactly what they need, whenever they need it,” said the company in an announcement.

West Zone’s latest location is at 1st street Corniche road near Sheraton Hotel and Resort in Abu Dhabi.

TFT Lifestyle TV is a weekly show that tells the life stories and shares the lifestyle of OFWs based in the UAE. A new episode is shown every Friday so be sure to check the Facebook page of The Filipino Times to stay updated with each episode.
