Bayanihan Abu Dhabi celebrates classic Filipino games at Family Fun Day 2019

Bayanihan Council in Abu Dhabi, in partnership with the Philippine Embassy successfully held their Family Fun Day last March 29 at the Reem Central Park in Abu Dhabi.

In attendance were Ambassador Hjayceelyn Quintana, together with Consul Rowena Pangilinan-Daquipil, Vice Consul Von Ryan Pangwi, Labor Attache Alejandro Padaen, Assistant Labor Attache Jesus Vicente Magsaysay, Assistant Labor Attache Liwayway Ilo with the rest of the Philippine diplomatic corps who enjoyed the whole day of festivities.

Around 500 people coming from different organizations in Abu Dhabi and the UAE attended the day-long event that featured classic Pinoy games like sack race, patintero, sipa, sungka, kadang-kadang, luksong tinik, tumbang preso, and more.

The event was spearheaded by Bayanihan Chairman Elmer Casao, along with Family Fun Day 2019 Chairman and Bayanihan Secretary Sheryl Palacios-Manalo.
