An Indonesian woman who lost her fiance in the Lion Air plane crash went to her wedding day photo shoot alone to fulfill his last wish to her. The couple was supposed to get married in less than two weeks when the unfortunate incident happened and they had already picked the bridal gown and rings day prior to it.

Intan Indah Syari was supposed to get married on November 11 to her fiance Rio Nanda Pratama at Pangkal Pinang, but the latter was unfortunately one of the passengers of the Lion Air flight JT 610 that crashed on October 29.

According to ABC, Pratama, a medical doctor, went to Jakarta for a 3-day training and was on his way home to Pangkal Pinang when the plane crashed into the Java Sea.

Indonesian media reports then said that Pratama had one last wish to Syari before he flew to Jakarta.

“If I don’t return before November 11, still wear the dress I chose. Make yourself beautiful and ask for a fresh white rose. Then take a lovely photo and send it to me,” Pratama reportedly told his fiancee.

Pratama’s mother even recalled that her son seemingly did not want to leave for Jakarta and kept hugging Syari at the airport, not knowing that it will be their last time together.

When the crash happened, Syari then took to Instagram to post throwback photos of her and Pratama as a way to remember him.

As a way to honor her promise to her late fiance, she called her family, friends, and wedding organizer on the day of her wedding and organized a photo shoot.

In one of the photos, Pratama’s younger sister posed with the bride in place of the groom.

“For you my lover Rio Nanda Pratama, thank you for giving me a sister who is so great, strong, smart, merciful and kind, just like you,” she wrote on Instagram.

“Even though you were not next to me yesterday your loyal sister accompanied me to carry out your last most beautiful request. I know you are happy there in eternity that surely everyone desires. Know that our love for you will not diminish at all, we love you forever.”

Syari said that she will continue to smile for her husband and that she will remain strong despite what happened.

Take a look at her beautiful photos below.

Intan Indah Syari. Wanita hebat dan kuat.. Sangat tegar. Teringat 2 minggu lalu, tepat tgl 29 Oktober 2018, Bangka Belitung berduka. Jatuhnya pesawat Lion Air JT610 menyisakan duka tersendiri bagi Intan. Adapun dr. Diiringi bercandaan yg sangat memilukan hati. "Seandainya nanti saya tidak kembali tgl 11 November 2018, kamu tetap pakai baju akad yg telah saya pilihkan kemarin. Didandan cantik. Make up, henna, smp foto semua dilalui dgn ikhlas ditemani oleh sahabat2nya.. berfoto sendiri n bersama sahabat2 terasa sedikit mengurangi beban berat.. Selamat jalan dr. Rio Nanda Pratama.. (Foto asli no edit) [email protected] ? @indra_permana_88 for @iluxio ? @nurulmehndi ? @adielagalery
