Mang Inasal rewards netizen with free chicken meal for 1 year

Mang Inasal decided to give a netizen with a year supply of Mang Inasal chicken meal after noticing his viral post on Facebook about why the fast food chain should be the national symbol of patriotism.

Jeremy Layson posted a status on Facebook that: “Eating at Mang Inasal is as pinoy as pinoy can get. A half Filipino would probably eat using spoon and fork, but a true Filipino with the blood of Lapu-lapu and Andres Bonifacio will eat with bare hand.”

Layson also said that Mang Inasal, famous for its affordable unlimited rice meals, appeals to the masses because of its delicious food and pleasant vibe.

“You can be a construction worker treating yourself in your special day at Mang Inasal while sitting with some professionals having their usual meal, all bare-handed,” he said.

The hospitality of Mang Inasal was commended by Layson.

“If you’re alone and want to eat there during peak hour (lunch time), and every seat is taken, the employees will try to ask occupied tables with vacant seats if they can allow you to eat with them, and that’s freaking marvelous,” he said.

Mang Inasal approved of Layson’s sentiments and gave him a nod by rewarding him with one year supply of the fast food’s famous PM1 or chicken meal with unlimited rice.

Mang Inasal wrote in a Facebook message to Layson:

“Salamat sa pagmamahal at pagtangkilik sa Mang Inasal!

“Touched na touched kami sa post mo, at gusto lang namin magpasalamat.

“Nakita naming mahilig ka sa PM1. As a token of our appreciation, we’d like to give you a one year supply of PM1 – enjoy a free PM1 meal once a week for whole year!

“Ok lang bang i-repost din ang status mo sa aming Facebook page?

“Pwede rin bang mahingi namin ang iyong address para mapadala namin ang Mang Inasal Gift Certificates mo?”

Layson replied to Mang Inasal’s reward with another witty remark.

“Thanks Mang Inasal Philippines for 1 year supply of PM1. I’ll convert right away to Mang Inasalism, for you are the true savior of humanity,” he said.

As of this writing, Layson’s post about Mang Inasal has garnered more than 31,000 reactions and 11,000 shares on Facebook.
