The on-screen pairing of Kathryn Bernardo and Alden Richards seems to be going pretty well despite them coming from rival networks.
As seen in an Instagram video that was posted by talent manager Philip Rojas, Richards did a simple yet sweet gesture to Bernardo who is about to celebrate her 23rd birthday on March 26.
The Kapuso actor surprised his leading lady with a cake and wished her a happy birthday.
Bernardo then hugged Richards as a way of thanking him for preparing he surprise.
Rojas said in the caption that the video was taken during the look test of their upcoming movie.

Bernardo and Richards are expected to work together for a movie project which will be released this year.
Aside from it being directed by Cathy Garcia Molina, further details about the movie project is yet to be released.
Together with Molina and Star Cinema managing director Olivia Lamasan, the Kapamilya actress and Kapuso actor have already met each other personally to make everything official.
