CJ Ramos thanks Coco Martin for showbiz comeback

Former child star CJ Ramos will be making his showbiz comeback through the help of Coco Martin after he got released from Caloocan City Police Station jail last August 9.

Through an Instagram post, Ramos shared a photo of him and the Kapamilya star.

Based on the hashtags he added on his post, it seems that he will soon be appearing on ABS-CBN long-time running series “FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano” wherein Martin plays the lead role.

A thankful Ramos captioned the photo, “Boss #cocomartin #cjramos #angprobinsyano #blessings #secondchance #thankful #salamatbosscoco”, while tagging Martin on the said Instagram post.

However, Ramos did not reveal any details about his role in the show.

Aside from Ramos, many returning celebrities who have not appeared on television for a while have also made their comeback on “Ang Probinsyano”, including Mark Lapid, Janno Gibbs, Joko Diaz, Julio Diaz, and the members of Viva Hot Babes, among others.

It can be recalled that Ramos, whose real name is Cromell John Ocampo Ramos, was arrested by authorities for using drugs last July 31 in a buy bust operation in Quezon City.

In an exclusive interview with Korina Sanchez’s weekly lifestyle show, Rated K, which was aired on August 5, Ramos said that he started using illegal drugs after he left show business.

He said that he turned to drug when his showbiz career began to fall during his teenage years. He said that he experienced depression when his hard-earned money all went in vain.

He said that drugs helped him cope with his family’s financial issues and depression, but said that he abused it at some point.

Ramos, however, explained that he has quit doing drugs a year ago for the sake of his family and child. He even tried vocational courses and planned on working abroad, but things didn’t go as expected.
