WATCH: Kris Aquino responds to Mocha Uson’s ‘apology’

Kris Aquino took to Facebook to respond to Presidential Communications Assistant Secretary Mocha Uson’s ‘apology video’.

Earlier today, Asec. Uson posted a 23-second video saying that the video she posted which compared an old clip showing a Filipina kissing Ninoy, with the recent video of President Rodrigo Duterte kissing a woman in South Korea, is not about Kris.

“This is not about Kris Aquino. Miss Aquino, this is not about you,” Uson said.

As a response, Kris posted a 17-minute long Facebook Live video, only about an hour after Asec. Uson posted hers, to address the issue.

“One, I will say you have a point – it is not about me. It is about my father. But you have to accept this fact, laman at dugo niya ako at karapatan ko na magsalita para sa kanya. Sino humalik? Ganon kasimple,” she said.

Kris, saying that she wants to end everything, emphasized on the video that she will no longer dig deeper into the issue because she has nothing against President Duterte.

However, she countered Uson’s argument by saying that the matter will most definitely be about her since the people being attacked are her late parents.

“Yung sinasabi mong it is not about me, I am sorry, when it is about my mother and my father, it will always be about me. Kahit sinong anak, kapag magulang na [ang pinag-uusapan], hate man nila ako, I think mag-a-agree sa akin… kasi lahat tayo, kahit ano man ang kulay natin, mahal natin ang mga magulang natin,” she said.

At some point in the video, Kris also expressed her gratitude and appreciation to Special Assistant to the President Christopher ‘Bong’ Go, who has already apologized to her. But she went on to question why Uson can’t do the same thing.

“Yung kanang kamay ng presidente, siya nagawa niyang mag-sorry sa akin, pero si Miss Uson, galit pa,” she said.

Kris went on to say that she is already tired with having to deal with all the hate on social media.

Kris added that people can be angry at former President Noynoy Aquino and the Liberal Party, but their family is different from the political party that many people are attacking.

“Hindi kami yung yellowtards na sinasabi niyo,” she said.

The Queen of All Media also said that she has tried to do her part for the betterment of everything.

“I did my share. I tried to reach out, I humbled myself.

Kris also left a message for Uson.

“I want to end this by saying, Mocha you win. You win because you hurt me and I think that is what you wanted to do.

Kris ended her video by reiterating that she has no plans in running for a political position but she has a voice that she will use.
