Liz Uy seeks privacy after introducing her son

After admitting to the public that she is now a mother, celebrity stylist Liz Uy wants to keep the details about her son privately.

In an exclusive interview with Preview magazine, she confirmed that she now has a son after giving birth in secret. Her revelation, however, drew flak as netizens asked about the father of her baby.

Moreover, she avoided the question when she was asked about it in an interview.

“Saka na lang natin pag-usapan,” Uy told ABS-CBN News after being asked about her baby’s age.

Local showbiz news claim that she gave birth in the United States before 2017 ended, which was why she wasn’t present during Curtis’ wedding in New Zealand.

After the news erupted, the celebrity stylist, who was formerly linked to John Lloyd Cruz, also shared a photo of her cradling her baby on Instagram, and simply wrote her baby’s name as the caption.

She said in the same interview with ABS-CBN that she is not obliged to reveal other details about the said Instagram post.

“For me, well that’s my [Instagram] page naman, and I can say and do whatever I want, and then bahala sila whatever they want to think din kasi, I’m not naman answerable to anyone,” she said.

Nevertheless, Uy said that she does not feel any regret and considers motherhood as the “best achievement she has ever done”.

Uy has not formally confirmed the rumors but many netizens and online websites are claiming that Raymond Racaza is her baby’s father.

According to his Bloomberg profile, Racaza is the president, chief operating officer, and co-founder of Xurpas Inc., a company that creates celebrity-oriented mobile game apps. He also happens to be married to a certain Dr. Geraldine Zamora Racaza.
