After five years together, Richard Gutierrez and Sarah Lahbati are finally getting married.
Gutierrez proposed to his long-time girlfriend in Switzerland, Lahbati’s home country.
The couple took to Instagram on Monday to share the news of their engagement.
“I love you and I can’t wait to start this new chapter of our lives together,” Gutierrez wrote.
Lahbati, meanwhile, shared a snapshot of Gutierrez down on one knee despite the chilly weather in the Alps.
“The stars aligned in the universe and this happened. I’m marrying my best friend,” she captioned the photo.

In 2013, Lahbati gave birth to their son Zion in Switzerland after initially announcing that she will be returning to the European country to study.
