Actress, singer and brand ambassador Janella Salvador doused speculations that she and Elmo Magalona are now an item.
Actress-singer Jenine Desiderio, the mother of the Philippine’s “OPM Pop Sweetheart”, forbids her to have a boyfriend at this time, Janella said at a press conference for her upcoming movie with Elmo titled “Bloody Crayons.”
Desiderio had advised Janella that having a romantic relationship should not be something that her daughter should prioritize right now.
Desiderio told her that she can have a boyfriend perhaps when she is already stable and can handle a relationship well, according to Janella.
Magalona agrees with Janella but has no qualms about being just friends

“I’m just happy na nakakapag-projects pa din kami ni Janella right after ‘Born For You,” ABS-CBN News quoted Magalona as saying.
