Actress Maja Salvador took some time to catch up with fellow Kapamilya John Lloyd Cruz who is currently on leave from his showbiz career.
Star Magic handler Net Rustia uploaded a photo on her Instagram account showing the two Kapamilya stars together.
Rustia captioned the photo with a message dedicated to Cruz.
“Thank you for keeping in touch!” she wrote.
“Sana mas madalas-dalas tayo magkita ngayon hindi lang sa text. Alam mong mahal kita, my panganay, and I’m happy for what you have and for what you are now, andito lang ako hindi nagbabago kung ano ang pinagsamahan natin mula noon hanggang ngayon! Love you anak!” she added.
Salvador also wrote on comments section saying the actor is still as attractive as ever.
In an interview with PEP.ph, Salvador confirmed that she met Cruz adding that the latter missed her. However, she refused to disclose any information about Cruz’s personal life.
“Sa akin na lang yun. Nakita niyo naman kung gaano kaganda yung aura niya ngayon. So he’s very, very, very happy. Period,” she said.
“Ako kasi yung taong… Well, ikaw ang nakakita. Hindi ako ang nag-post. Hindi naman lahat ng ganap ko sa mga kaibigan ko, kailangan ko i-post. Yun.
“As much as possible, ayaw kong magbigay ng detalye. I want to respect him. Gusto ko respetuhin yung friendship na meron kami. Yung trust na naibibigay sa akin,” she said.
She also said that they did not discuss Cruz’s showbiz comeback.
“Uhm, yung mga bagay na mga ganyan, wala iyan sa topic namin. Pag nagkikita kami, laging hindi kami artista,” she said.
Cruz and Salvador first worked together for the film “One More Chance”.
