UAE temperature slips to 14.8 degrees

It looks like the winter season is fast approaching in the UAE with some areas reported to having temperatures as low as 14.8 degrees.

The National Center of Meteorology (NCM) on Wednesday, October 17, reported that five areas in the UAE recorded cold temperatures ranging from 14 to 21 degrees.

These areas include Jais Mountain (14.8 degrees), Mebreh Mountain (18.5 degrees), Damtha (19.7 degrees), Al Qor (21.1 degrees), and Hatta (21.2 degrees).

Temperature also continued to drop even in hot areas on Tuesday, October 16, with the highest temperature only at 37.7 degrees.

The five hottest areas in the UAE on Monday are Mezaira (37.7 degrees), Qsyoura (37.6 degrees), Rowdah (37.3 degrees), Al Gheweifat (37.2 degrees), and Al Qattara (37.1 degrees).

Rains are expected to continue in different parts of the country while other areas will experience a partly cloudy to cloudy weather.

Humidity is expected to increase at night and early morning especially in some coastal areas. Light to moderate winds will also be experienced.
