Overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) in the UAE will be treated with a night of good music as rock icon Francisco Gaudencio Lope Belardo Mañalac aka Bamboo visits Dubai to stage a free concert on October 12.
The concert will be held at Dragon Mart 2 at 7:30 p.m. featuring fellow Filipino musician Barbie Almalbis.
Aside from the free concert, Dragon Mart is also offering an opportunity for a lucky few to get up close and personal with both Bamboo and Barbie in a meet and greet session.

Bamboo began his career as a solo artist after being the front man of Rivermaya and later on his own band named after himself which disbanded in 2011. He released his first album as a solo artist titled No Water, No Moon in 2012 and his second album titled Bless This Mess in 2015.
He is also a regular judge at the singing competition series, The Voice Philippines, alongside Lea Salonga, Sarah Geronimo, and Megastar Sharon Cuneta.
Bamboo is noted for his raspy vocals and mellow-rock songs combined with an energetic performance.
His free concert will be his second visit to Dubai this year.
