Dubai Police returned a precious diamond ring worth Dh550,000 or approximately more than P8,000,000 to a transit passenger at Dubai Airport.
The female passenger who came from Bangkok landed as a transit passenger at the Dubai Airport before flying to France, reported Al Khaleej.
During her stay in Dubai, the woman decided to go shopping at the airport’s Duty Free section, wherein she suddenly remembered that she placed her ring in the seat pocket of her business class seat in the plane she flew in.
Maj. Gen. Tayyar Ahmed Mohammed Bin Thani, Assistant Commander-in-Charge of Port Affairs, confirmed that the ring has been returned to the woman by the guards in Airport Terminal 3 when she was about to board her next flight.
