PBC-DNE’s LFBE launches hydration drive for delivery riders this July

Delivery riders across the UAE can expect a small but meaningful gesture of support this month as the League of Food and Beverage Entrepreneurs (LFBE), an industry group under the Philippine Business Council–Dubai and Northern Emirates (PBC-DNE), rolls out its “Ride Hydrated” campaign.

The month-long initiative encourages participating food and beverage establishments to offer free bottled water to delivery riders, who spend long hours on the road, particularly during the peak of summer.

Through the campaign, LFBE member establishments will serve as hydration points where riders can stop for a bottle of water while carrying out their deliveries.

The initiative comes as the UAE continues to experience soaring temperatures, with delivery riders among those spending much of their working day outdoors. As demand for food delivery and e-commerce services continues to grow, riders have become an essential part of daily life for many residents.

LFBE said the campaign aims to provide a simple yet practical way of showing appreciation for riders while helping them stay hydrated during the summer months.

The drive also highlights how businesses can contribute to community welfare through small but purposeful initiatives. By bringing together Filipino-owned and Filipino-led establishments, LFBE hopes to foster a culture of care and shared responsibility within the industry.

The “Ride Hydrated” campaign will run throughout July at participating LFBE member establishments across the UAE.
