Sharjah City Municipality has reinstated paid public parking across the emirate, ending a temporary exemption previously granted to motorists.
The authority said parking fees are now applicable in all designated public zones, in line with existing regulations.
Motorists have been advised to use authorized payment channels, including parking machines, SMS services, and official mobile applications.
Officials said the move aims to regulate the use of public parking spaces and improve traffic flow across the city.
Authorities also warned that failure to comply with parking rules may result in fines and penalties, urging residents to stay informed and follow regulations.
