DFA: 368 Filipinos abroad infected by COVID-19 

The Department of Foreign Affairs reported that 368 Filipinos across 30 countries tested positive for the coronavirus disease or COVID-19. 

Around 9 Filipinos died, while 242 patients are still undergoing treatment. In addition, about 117 have recovered or have been discharged from hospitals.

Of the 368, 193 cases were recorded in the Asia Pacific Region — with one of them declared dead, and 95 of them fully recovered.

In addition, around 48 Filipinos have contracted the virus in eight countries in Africa, while 94 were recovered in 12 countries in Europe—with six recoveries and six fatalities. In the Americas, around 33 cases of COVID-19 were recorded among Filipinos, with 14 recoveries and one death.
