Luxury brand Dior has tapped Filipino photographer and National Geographic Explorer, Hannah Reyes Morales to shoot for their Spring-Summer 2020 collection by Maria Grazia Chiuri.
Morales, in a video posted on Dior’s Instagram account, says she surprised when the luxury brand asked her to do the group shots. She also shared that the process in photojournalism is really different from the processes of the fashion industry but she added that in spite of the difference, they can still collaborate and cross-pollinate.
Although Morales admitted that she was not used to working with models and the type of background she had during the shoot, she said she was amazed by it.
Dior shared on Instagram multiple photo sets of their collection taken by Morales. The models were clad in Italian designer and Dior creative director Chiuri’s designs. The collection was unveiled during Paris Fashion Week 2019. Elle Sy
