The beauty of the Philippine Islands was showcased to the world once again as Palawan landed the top spot on Travel+Leisure’s Top 25 Islands in the World!
Palawan rose above the ranks of Travel+Leisure’s “World’s Best Awards” survey with a score rating of 94.83, from the feedback of thousands of travellers from around the world. Paros (2nd) and Milos (3rd), both of which are in Greece, rated 90.55 and 90.33 respectively.
“Roughly 270 miles long and just 25 across at its widest point, on a map Palawan looks like an arm extending from the Philippines to Borneo. It’s dramatic at sea level, with mountains rising directly from the ocean palm-edged beaches,” wrote the report from Travel+Leisure.
