Sharjah announces 1,300 new paid parking spaces in Al Nahda

 

Sharjah has announced the addition of 1,300 parking spaces in Al Nahda for its paid parking zones.
These new parking slots are part of the plan of the municipality to introduce 6,200 paid parking spaces in the first quarter of 2020.
Citing Ali Abu Ghazeen, director of public parking department at the Sharjah Municipality, Khaleej Times reported that the municipa office has already installed 120 payment machines, 12 large instruction boards, and 600 small panels for SMS payment guides.
Signboards have been put up in the new paid parking areas to ensure that motorists will be informed of the fees and schedules.
