Man cries foul over FB post claiming he’s murdered Cebu teen

A man who was tagged in a Facebook post as one of the killers of Christine Lee Silawan has strongly denied the allegations against him.

In a report by GMA News, the man named Jerome Nelson Funcion said that he was in Antipolo City when the crime happened so it is impossible for him to be the one who committed it.

It all started when a Facebook page called “Kamaong Apoy Blog” uploaded a photo of him with a caption describing him as one of the criminals linked to the gruesome murder.

However, Funcion said that he is a resident of Antipolo and that the  farthest he had traveled recently was to Olongapo in Subic on February 15.

The Facebook page has since deleted the post but Funcion is still planning on filing a complaint against the page’s administrator to the the Anti-Cybercrime Division of the Philippine National Police (PNP).

Funcion said that he already talked to the admin of the page, but the latter onl insisted that he is part of the crime and challenged him to clear his name.
