Bird strike stops Manila-bound plane

An aircraft of the Philippine Airlines’ flight was canceled when a bird strike hit its right engine in Davao International Airport.

PR 814 was supposed to fly from Davao to Manila on Wednesday, August 29. The pilots, however, decided to halt the flight and return to the ramp, reported ABS-CBN.

All passengers are safe and given food and drinks. Meanwhile, the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines stated that the passengers will have their flights rebooked to a 7:00 PM flight.
