An Asian nanny on Wednesday, July 25, has been sentenced by a Dubai Court to three years in prison after being found guilty of molesting an 8-year-old boy with autism and speech difficulties.
The 22-year-old Filipino household helper in Dubai was accused of taking her shirt off in front of the child and making him fondle her afterwards, reported Khaleej Times.
The boy’s 43-year-old French mother said that the defendant worked for them as a nanny for about four months until she decided to terminate her due to bad behavior.
After the mother fired the Filipina and sent her back to the agency, she said that she noticed a change in the behavior of her son. The complainant said that her child suddenly started acting aggressively and would touch her inappropriately when she took him for shower.
The complainant added that she even took her son to special therapists to know the reason behind his sudden change of personality.
An Ethiopian maid who works for the complainant said that she saw the Filipina nanny take advantage of the boy several times when his mother was out of the country.
