During the pilot phase, the biggest issues of the callers were neglect and social media, reported The National.
The project aims to strengthen emotional bonds and reduce the growing divorce rate in the country.
The hotline is not only for couples but offers support to the entire family; unmarried couples are also assured confidentiality.
The counselling service is a part of the ministry’s campaign to promote marriage; aside from this, 72 family centers will also be established across the emirates.
