A man was found dead inside his apartment in Al Nahda area, in Sharjah on Saturday night.
A white cloth was found wrapped around the Indian man’s neck when his body was found hanging from a fan inside his room, reported Gulf News.
The scene of the incident looked like a case of suicide, but Al Buhairah Police are still looking for a possible foul play.
His remains were transferred to a forensic laboratory for further investigation.
Hanging from pedestrian bridge
An Asian man took his own life by hanging himself from the pedestrian bridge on Sheikh Rashid bin Saeed Al Maktoum Road, also known as Airport Road.
The Abu Dhabi Police said in a statement that they received a call around 11:19 AM on June 17 regarding the incident.
The authorities immediately sent a team to the site. An investigation on the suicide incident is underway.
