One, or if not, the most popular fast food order for many Filipinos in the UAE has to be servings of chicken that’s marinated and fried to perfection.

And with the influx of fast food chains with new branches springing up left and right, Marrybrown has stood the test of time as a market leader with its signature recipe Chicken and the continuous introduction of new meals as it continues to reinvent itself for the public.

Here’s our review of their meals:

Fried Chicken

Starting right off the bat is their prime product – their fried Chicken with a closely guarded recipe brought all the way from its humble origins in Malaysia. “50% of the menu is developed here, but the main core product, they are from Malaysia. The recipe of the chicken – the Original and ‘Hotouch’ chicken, the fillets, the strips, these flavors are the same flavors of Marrybrown Malaysia,” shares Janet Agor, Quality Assurance and Training Manager for Marrybrown UAE.

Marrybrown’s Original recipe chicken banks on the marinated tenderness of the chicken itself – this entails that with each bite, your mouth will be filled with that extra infused flavors of the chicken and its spices. Marrybrown’s ‘Hotouch’ – their version of the spicy fried chicken, has a very tolerable spicy tinge to it, something that Filipinos and any other nationalities would surely enjoy. The juiciness and flavorful factor holds true for their fillet and strips variants as well.

Rice Meals

While Marrybrown’s selection of Chicken Meals allow you to choose either plain or chili rice with salsa on the side, the fast food chain has kicked it up a notch with their offerings for rice toppings as well!

Chik ‘o’ Rice. A gravy lover’s dream – generous services of Marrybrown’s boneless chicken is served with steaming hot white rice with loads of delicious gravy poured on top. The fusion of flavors of the savory gravy, the freshly cooked chicken with that sweet tinge of rice makes you want to eat the meal one bite after the other.

Currylicious. For those who love a bit of spice in their life – Marrybrown’s Currylicious invites diners to the flavors of the Arab nation with its signature blend of spices that you can taste with the curry sauce on top of the boneless chicken.

Spicylicious. Marrybrown’s next level of spice takes it even further with spicy rice, boneless chicken pieces, and their signature MB sauce. The surprising delight of this meal is their ‘Achar’ which to most Filipinos would be the ‘atsara’ that really heightens and accentuates the flavor of the entire dish.

Sandwiches

For diners who prefer meals they can enjoy on the go, Marrybrown has several choices for sandwiches including the following:

Crunch-bite Fillet. If you love a meal that packs a punch to the crunch, this sandwich is definitely for you. Marrybrown has reinvented the usual chicken burger, introducing new flavors within it including its signature spicy seasonings as well as crunchy criss-cut fries to every bite!

Chicken Tikka. Available in sandwich and wrap versions, Marrybrown’s Chicken Tikka Sandwich/Wrap infuses that peculiar Tikka spice flavor on its delicious dish, perfect for those searching for a spicy sandwich to go.

Hotdog Sandwich. Simple, straightforward, yet still savory. Marrybrown’s own version of the Hotdog Sandwich fills up its entire to-go box with cheeses and sauces on top of a tender hotdog wrapped within a mildly sweet hotdog bun.

Sides and Drinks

Apart from your main meals, you can also grab their tasty sides and refreshing drinks including:

MB Glazed Chicken Popcorn. A recent addition to Marrybrown’s innovative menu, tender pieces of boneless chicken are cooked along with either Smokey BBQ or Spicy Chipotle flavors – each having their own tinge of savory, spicy tastes!

Mojitos. For a refreshing taste from your meals, Marrybrown has quite a selection of drinks including the sour-and-sweet Classic Mojito, their Honeydew Melon that banks on its fusion of honey, melon and more, their Blue Curacao that soothes your throat with its coolness to each sip and their Mango Mojito that accentuates the flavors of the tropical fruit favorite.

Marrybrown continues to serve deliciously satisfying fast food dishes to its customers and innovates to make sure that it fulfills the cravings of its customers in the country. “Here in the UAE, most of our customers are Filipinos. So we cater to the customers that we have and start to develop the product to expand to their most preferred meals,” shares Agor.

Marrybrown has nine branches all over the UAE with two new branches opening within the next few months.
