Bahrain’s Defence Force said Tuesday its air defense systems intercepted and destroyed several missiles and drones launched by Iran targeting the kingdom.
In a statement, the Bahrain Defence Force said Iran continued what it described as a systematic campaign of missile and drone attacks directed at civilians in Bahrain.
The military said the attacks targeted civilians and private property and called them a flagrant violation of international humanitarian law.
The statement did not immediately provide details on casualties or damage resulting from the intercepted attacks.
