Cebu bride gets vaccinated against COVID-19 right after wedding

A Cebuana caught the attention of people in a vaccination center after arriving at her scheduled appointment while wearing her wedding dress.

In a GMA News report, Marlyn Ilustrisimo was supposed to get married on the same day when she was also scheduled to complete her vaccination.

After she got married, Marlyn immediately went to the vaccination center.

She said she did not want to miss her appointment because she knows the importance of getting vaccinated.

Marlyn urges everyone to get vaccinated whenever there is an opportunity.

So far, the Philippine government has vaccinated over 24 million people, or 31.76% of the country’s eligible population. (TDT)
