The United Arab Emirates will accept vaccine certificates issued abroad.
The Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship (ICA) said that individuals must first register their vaccine certificates only for the following approved vaccines in the UAE: AstraZeneca (or Covishield), Moderna, Pfizer, Sputnik, and Sinopharm.
Registration for the vaccine certificates can be done via the ICA Smart app or smartserviced.ica.gov.ae.
Once the registration is completed, a confirmation will be sent and reflected in the Alhosn app.
A travel information section, showing arrival date and RT-PCR notifications will also be part of the app.
