Filipino netizens slammed the statements of social media influencer Jam Magno after she alleged that reigning Miss Universe Philippines Rabiya Mateo was a ‘retokada’ or someone who underwent several beauty enhancement procedures.
Many Filipinos stated that Magno’s behavior was unacceptable and even alleged that ‘it takes one to know one’, implying that the social media influencer herself might have also gone under the knife.

“Imbes na suportahan ang ating pambato sila pa mismo ang nagdodown,” said a netizen.
“Hahahahaha bakit ba tayo mahilig manira ng kapwa Pilipino? Dapat nga suportahan natin ang ating pambato sa Miss Universe,” said another.
Earlier, Iloilo City Mayor Jerry P. Treñas said a social media influencer who bashed Miss Universe Philippines 2020 Rabiya Mateo can be declared “persona non grata” by the city of Iloilo if Ilonggos wanted.

“If the Ilonggos think she deserves it, why not?” Treñas said.
His statement comes after a social media influencer Jam Magno bashed Rabiya, who hails from Iloilo.
Magno mocked Rabiya’s national costume adding that she was rooting for other country’s bet.
