Shortly after reports about the altercation between actor Matteo Guidicelli and Sarah Geronimo’s close-in security during their civil wedding on Thursday night, Mommy Divine became an instant trending topic in Twitter.
This came after reports saying that the altercation happened when Matteo suspected that Sarah’s bodyguard had informed Mommy Divine regarding their civil wedding held at a luxury hotel at BGC.

Mommy Divine allegedly tried to push back the ceremony as she tried to talk to her daughter which did not sit well with Matteo.
Many netizens rally behind the couple and Mommy Divine became a trending topic on Friday.

Some fans however sided with the controversial mother of the pop star royalty. Like former GMA reporter Marvin Tomandao, who said that popsters should save Sarah.

Well, Sarah needed guidance when she was in her teens and early ‘20s. For godssakes she is 31 and well rounded woman. Divine is a crazy, selfish, possessive parent who just values her child a her property and worse, her cash cow.
She is not a teen anymore. She is 31 yrs old. If she thinks her daughter does not have the right choice well at least support her until thr end, I mean emotionally. Nobody is perfect in this world and everyone is subject to change. I think the Mom is freaking afraid of losing her daughter but why???
