Who knew a very important lesson in life can be gleaned from ducks’ behaviors?
UAE’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, Sheikh Saif Bin Zayed Al Nahyan posted a video of ducks waiting for the red light to turn green before crossing a street.

Sheikh Saif noted that while the video may be amusing, it also imparts a very strong message to residents of the UAE.
“Ducks managed to coexist with the surrounding environment, while some human beings have been unable to maintain coexistence with their community as a result of their deviation from the moral norms and customs surrounding them,” his caption read.
This year, the government launched a two-day conference called “Tolerance, Moderation and Dialogue in Countering Terrorism” to address extremism and its social, economic, religious, and legal implications.
The effort aims to teach residents of their responsibilities as members of the society to be able to live harmoniously with other residents.
The campaign aims to teach residents about the importance of following traffic directions such as crossing streets only when traffic lights are green, and entering roundabouts.
